·       Identify needs and provide resources to meet the needs of minority businesses.

·       Communicate minority business needs to government, private sector and business community.

·       Develop county-wide awareness of MBAC.

·       Promote minority businesses in the region.

·       Act as advocate for minority businesses in the region.

·       Develop a climate for inclusion of minority businesses on county contracts.

·       Provide direction, ideas, innovation and guidance to foster growth and retention of minority businesses.
